The 'Ghosts' album came out just before christmas break in college. I made taped copies for my girlfriend and myself to listen on our walkmen, we were both huge Police fans. Visiting family without the liner notes, I had trouble with this one (I also had never heard of an 'acetyline light' which was mentioned in the 'Invisible Sun' song) and only could catch "asperitz' #@* serial world". I thought 'serial' sounded like something Sting would write. I received a letter (remember those?) from my girlfriend asking "what does 'asperitz' mean?" Exactly the same spelling I had figured myself! I realized that 'enema' had to be wrong at the time, but geez, couldn't catch the true word!
