I don't really remember when I realized I was wrong. I do remember being like seven years old when I first heard the song on MTV, and going to the next room to ask my mom what "Mylar" was. When she told me that it's the silvery stuff birthday balloons are made of, I thought it was an awfully strange thing to dress up in.
