It was really my friend who misunderstood it!! We were in elementary school and she started singing that song in class...everyone in the class looked at her like she was crazy! It was during a project where she was supposed to talk about her parents favorites...that was her moms favorite song so she was doing the presentation then all of a sudden she started singing it...the teacher sent her to the office for singing that song in class!! I later asked her what she was singing and she said that it was a song by Lenny Kravitz. I looked at her and said..umm Sarah(her name) the song is American Woman!
