Paid love, you got me on my knees

The story:

I was driving to work one day and the
song came on the radio. When I
arrived in the office, I told a co-worker
that I was singing "Paid Love" in the
car and how much I liked the song.
He said, what song is that? So I
sang him the chorus, in my version
of course, and he quietly informed
me it was really "Layla" -- Duh! -- of
course I had heard the name of Eric
Clapton's famous song but never
realized I had actually MISHEARD the
song as something else. You've
gotta admit though, my words bring
to mind an interesting scenario!
