The story:

I only recently heard this song last year, and was very confused by the randomness of the tune and tone of the song, let alone the lyrics. Looking up the lyrics has let me see all the little mistakes that crept into my mouth whenever I tried to sing along. The mistakes were spread throughout the song, so, I pulled them all out and labeled them. I refuse, however, to stop singing "hit me where the wind blows," as it adds to the angst of the song, and I substitute "blown" for "thrown" in the "now I've gone and thrown it all away" phrase, on purpose. Angst is fun ^_^
