I was singing along with it in front of this guy I was dating who burst out laughing at me (he was Irish) and said, "You don't understand the Irish accent by now?" Then he got out his cell phone and called all his friends and then his dad to tell them what I thought that lyric was. Needless to say, meeting the parents was out of the question.
