I had been smoking joints with some friends in the back of my van and this song came on at the end of The Beatles' "Let It Be" Album back in 1971. I heard that lyric and said to everybody else, "I'm glad The Beatles can talk about Pot Without Causing Controversy". My girlfriend (now wife asked me, "What do you mean?" I said, "The Lyric on 'Get Back' we just heard, 'JoJo Left His Home in Tuscon, Arizona, Bought Some California Grass' as in he bought California grown pot or something." And everybody laughed their heads off and they corrected me. The best and worst night of life. (You figure out why it's best.)
