It was some 20 odd years later when I realized I was mistaken! I'd sung it this way for a couple of decades. I was stunned! After all, it was one of my favorite Beatles tunes, and when I'd tell someone which one was my favorite, no one seemed to know which song I was refering to, but then, none of them knew music like I knew music!
