Actually, this was not me but my wife. She had heard this bizarre version of the lyrics her whole life - so had no shame in singing them at the top her voice when Daltrey & Co came on the car radio. I nearly crashed the car, of course, and have rarely laughed as much in my life. She particularly hates me telling anyone about this, so I'm pleased to find you.
