Well, I am from Germany, so listening to english songs is a bit different for me than listening to german lyrics because english is not my mother language.
I knew that is has to be 'kid', but everytime I hear this song, I swear I hear 's**t'. Which is funny to me, because Michael Jackson spend(s) a lot of money to help kids.
Dr. Jackson and Mr. Hide???
There was no moment of embarrassement (?), because many of my friends agree with me that he sings it in a strange way.
The other mistake in the first line depends on that the word 'claim' is not one of my typical words I use, when I write or talk english. So I instinctively preferred the easiest way, but I think it makes the same sense, doesn't it?
