    For unknown reasons, even to myself, it had never occurred to me that the lyrics I "heard" were wrong. It was only when I got an mp3 player and downloaded this song, amongst many others, did I hear the words for the first time. Fortunately, as it was an mp3 player, I was, essentially, by myself with the embarrassment.
