This is one of my favorite misheards. I couldn't make out what Fogerty was singing at first. And I originally imagined Lodi rhymed with names like "Cody" and "Jody".

That may be the funniest misheard lyric ever! WTG. I never had problems with understanding the lyrics to Lodi, but Down on the vCorner is another matter.

Never heard that way but am peeing my pants laughing - just imagining your Dad's facial expression hearing your lyrics.

That's ok, I thought it was "Oh Lord, stuck in an old diadem" but now that I'm listening to it, it DOES sound like yours!
