The story:

While watching television with my father during some previews, a remix of the song came on and my dad started mumbling the lyrics and said "oh lord".... and I told him it was "hold on" rather nonchalantly, though I was put back in my place when I looked them up shortly afterward. I had always heard it back in the 90s as "coming in the end of night, hold on" over the radio and honestly it still sounds more like that to me.... I'll just pretend it still is! *plugs ears* lalalalallallalaa
