The story:

I woke up from my afternoon nap with this song blaring on my radio. I sat, in the dark, listening, sure that I must still be dreaming. I listened to the entire song, then grabbed a pen and wrote my lyrics down on my hand, figuring it would be easy to figure out who the artist was--after all, how many bands have lyrics that stupid? An indepth search told me that maybe I was the one with the stupidity issue. Luckily, the radio station has a "find any song we've played in the past 24 hours" function, which gave me band and song name. The rest is humiliating history.
