My brother and I used to listen to this song all the time and sing it together. One day I realized that he was saying "paper plate" as opposed to "paperweight" and I had to ask him what a brass paper plate was. After thinking about it he realized it made no sense. I told him the correct lyric and he got all sad and said that his version was better.
