The story:
I had loved the song for years, and was singing it with a friend of mine and heard her sing the correct lyric, which I made fun of her for singing. I laughed at her and said Prince would never use purple banana" in any song. Then we went to a lyrics server and found out she was right. I was riddled with embarrassment.
