I was actually singing it and this punk kid started yelling at me for mocking The Misfits (yes, Metallica covered this song...it was originally by The Misfits). I seriously was confused. So I looked the lyrics up, and I turned bright red (like a tomato baby perhaps). I'd been singing it wrong for several months. No one had ever corrected me. Personally I prefer tomato baby, and still occasionally go back to my version.
