Well, actually, it's more Green Day's fault. When Green Day recently redid this song, they were performing it on American Idol. My mum hates the type of music I listen to, so the whole time I was trying to watch them perform it she kept interrupting with "That doesn't even make sense!" When I asked her why not, she said "A working class hero isn't a bee for one thing!"
