The story:
This came out in 1986 when I was ten. I just discovered today that I have been mishearing the lyrics for 22 years. When I asked my boyfriend about the Talking Heads, he was clueless. So I said "you know that band that sings the fur v****a song?" then proceeded to sing the first part of the song. He decided to look it up and found out that I was wrong. I have been heard countless times singing this catchy phrase to myself in my car and the grocery store, but nobody ever knew what the heck I was singing about.
