The story:
I was only wrong for a few months, but based upon the misunderstanding, I thought the entire song was about visiting whorehouses. (The line "Check out mister businessman. He bought some wild, wild life" only made my theory more convincing.) A friend of mine disagreed, so she looked up the lyrics. Alas, I needed better headphones.
