The story:

This song had been playing on the radio a lot, and one day I heard my six-year-old daughter in her room just belting it out, using what she /thought/ was the right lyrics. I had to run to the kitchen, so she wouldn't see me laughing at her. Once I'd calmed down, I told her the correct lyrics.
