The story:

It wasn't me, I heard it on a radio show in germany. The idea was to
translate and sing the lyrics of your favourite song in german to
win a price. Two girls phoned an sang: "Und ich vermiss' dich, wie
ein Wuesten-Geheimnis..." which translates as the above. I nearly
choked with laughter. I mean: This is embarrassment broadcast
life! The DJ was distinctly irritated but too afraid to tell them. They
got the price anyway.
