| Real Lyric | And I seen the sun up ahead At the county line bridge Sayin' all there's good and nothingness is dead |

I've been singing this song for over a decade (to myself ever since it became popular), and this is the hardest lyric I have to get used to. Wallflowers songs never made too much sense to me, like a lot of alternative rock music in the late 1990's. But I figured since the song said, "It's cold; it feels like Independence Day", it could also make the above contradiction that "I'm rich" and "luckiness is dead". Hey, that's just me. What can I say?
