Ha! I'm sure the 2nd version is what they really MEANT to sing anyway, 'cause it's a better metaphor. Olympus is in Greece for Jeebus' sake!
(I also agree with Jenny that "I guess it rains down in Africa" also better serves the song's thematic center... :D)
