The story:
The song was on the radio whilst I was on the school bus, and I was singing along with a friend.
I took a break from singing to comment on how it was odd that the Class A drug reference had not been censored, and my friend asked me what the hell I was on about.
I told her my version of the lyrics and she said "Really? Jamelia takes cocaine? How come it hasn't been in the papers?"
This boy who sits behind us then loudly proclaimed how stupid we were to believe it, and told us the real lyrics. He was having a good laugh until I pointed out that he seemed to know Jamelia lyrics mighty well for a 15 year old boy. ;-)
