The story:
I didn't know a lot about the disco scene when this song came out and I had no idea what a Buford dance was but I did know that Abba was from Sweden. I figured a Buford dance was something they did in Sweden and they had to have the right music for it. I didn't realize the real lyrics until I had been singing the wrong ones for about 20 years.
