The story:

I was around three years old when I first heard this song. I didn't know what a jackaroo dayglow boy was but I heard my parents say the Beatles used drugs so I figured it was some kind of drug induced hallucination. It wasn't until I was a grown woman and dating a guy who played in a Beatle's tribute band that I learned the real lyrics.
