The story:
I was in first grade at the time. Each morning we stood to recite thepledge of allegiance. I overhead one of my classmates bumblingthrough the words and whispered my version to her. The teacher heard me and corrected me in front of the class. I never really liked her after that. Besides, I wanted to know who Richard Stands was.
