I thought it was some kind of Australian slang, which, now that I think about it, was a pretty sophisticated thought for a 13-year old American kid in the 80's. I finally just asked my sister what the song was called, and she told me. Then I told her what I thought it was, so I ended up making a fool of myself anyway.
