The story:
My friend and I were just in the car the other day and she played this song from her cd. When we go to these lyrics, I asked "What do they say in that line? I always think it's linen shoes!" When she told me... it made more sense. But I will continue to sing it my way just because it's more fun. She asked... "Linen shoes? Why not cotton or polyester?" I don't know. Linen sounds kinda comfy...
