The story:

I was listening to the lyrics on the radio one day while my parents were driving along when suddenly I understood the real words. Even though my parents have never said anything I must have sang along with it hundreds of times so I felt embarassed. Mayebe they just thought I was being a little kid when I sang the words wrong. Now I think of how little sense my words made. I mean in a romantic song why would you talk about being malnourished and painfully dying.
