The story:
Just decided to look up the lyrics today after listening to the song on the train journey home & not being able to tell what's going on in half of it... I was sure he meant that he's a total loser with no house & he lives with his married friends (so he's probably really old since they're all married) & sleeps with what he sees (as in cardboard boxes & rubbish & crap)... But something about a song about an old homeless man who sleeps with either friends or random crap he sees just didn't sound right to me so I had to look it up & there you go! I was completely wrong... And I still don't recognise the majority of the lyrics because i just COULD NOT understand what he was singing...
