It was actually a friend of mine -- she came over to visit. I put in a Kenny Rogers tape in and when this came on, she sang it that way. We argued over who was right and she never believed me since we don't talk. I don't know if she has the lyrics right. No, it wasn't over this song. We were 20 at time; it's been 8 years.
