The story:
The song is called "City Love" after all, so you'd think I would've figured it out--but a song doesn't always have its title in the lyrics, I guess. The correct lyrics were listed in a story related to John's recent Grammy nomination--it was a real "light bulb moment" for me ("Oh, so THAT's why it's called "City Love"). Yeah, I'm never speaking up again . . . starting now.
