The story:
I always knew it couldn't be right, but I honestly couldn't hear it any other way! I only ever heard it on the radio, so it was never really clear, and I didn't like Phil Collins enough to buy the album and check my math. Because he sings it so earnestly, I don't think I can feel embarrassed. Heck, if those were the lyrics, Phil'd sell it.
