The story:
I was in the car with my wife listening to golden oldies when a song came on the radio that I happen to like. When it ended, I was trying to be funny and started singing the chorus, "I haven't got time for a date,I haven't got time for a fig, I haven't got time for a raisin, Not since I've known you.
She looked at me and asked, "why on earth are you singing that?" I answered, "Because she's singing I haven't got time for a date. I figured one dried fruit was just as good as another to sing about"
Every time she hears that song come on, she still laughs at me! I thought those were the lyrics until 2005!
