The story:
Not embarassing. But I've been watching that great new show, "Don't Forget the Lyrics" lately, and having a blast singing along. Well, the theme song for the show is China Grove, and I thought, "How ironic that they pick a song with messed up lyrics to be the theme song of a show like this." Then I looked them up to prove myself right. Did I ever.
I think my lyrics make just as much sense as the original lyrics, and are more interesting from a metaphysical point of view. Protestants don't have saints, so it fits perfectly.
