The Story: You smell like goat, I'll see you in hell
It was actually a professor(!) of mine, who was teaching(?) about the '60s. As an example of the music of the day, he played this song, and then started talking about drug-addled lyrics, reminiscing about his experiences in the '60s, etc. People in the class started cracking up, and pretty soon everyone was in full guffaw. The professor didn't understand what was so funny, until someone explained to him that it was a protest song, and sang the real lyrics.
I guess that professor really *did* experience the '60s...
