It was my roommate who actually thought that these were the lyrics. I was reading through these, and since we are both pretty big Third Eye Blind fans I read the misheard lyric to her and started laughing. She laughed along for a little then went, "Wait, you mean he doesn't say 'the four eyed goats could make me cry?'" I started laughing again, and she got really serious, and kept repeating, "I could've sworn that was what he said, but I guess it doesn't make much sense.."
