Riding in a car singing this song with my husband of 30 years. I tried to convince him that my version was right. He told me that "earth" rhymes with the word "worth" in the next line of the song. After telling me how stupid I was, not knowing how to do simple rhymes, he said he liked my version better. Hey, I smoked a lot of loco weed in the 60's "along" with the wine. Isn't "plowman" a type of English pub lunch? Munchie anyone?
