The story:

I had the album, and I'd been listening to it for months -- I knew that the song was about the Stones' visit to the U. S., and I thought, "Like, wow, they're being, y'know, groovy -- instead of just coming over here andy partying like a bunch of rich rock stars with over-inflated egos bulging trousers, they're actually taking time to pay tribute to the spirits of departed Native Americans! Maybe they'll start to become, y'know, like, spiritual..."

And then I picked up a rock magazine, read about the song, and saw the lyrics. "Candy and Cathy," it turned out, were JUST TWO GODDAM GROUPIES! More rock-star egos, more over-inflated codpieces...
