The story:
It wasn't me; it was a friend. I was working at a radio station at college, and regularly played BNL. A friend came in with me one day, and I popped the song in, and she started singing, over the air, no less. After she butchered the lyrics, I turned the mic off and asked her what she was thinking. She figured since they mention Pavlov's dog, it made sense.
