I used to sing it this way all the time.I'd go through the grocery store sing my lungs out & poeple would just die laughin @ this little kid trying to sing.Finally my family drilled it into me that it wasn't "to praise Alla.",so...-being thick as I am- I changed it thinking I had it right now to "Tis the season to tease Ollie".Which didn't please my great aunt Ollie when I sang it around her.Finally it got drilled into me that it was wrong.(It also helped being in choir & a singer.)~:o)
