I thought I had unearthed something on a par with the Holy Grail when I heard Abba singing on the title track to their Super Trooper album about seeing someone in a working-class English supermarket - surely they shopped in Harrods food-hall? I thought it was hilarious and told a friend of mine at school about it a few weeks later, knowing he too had bought the album.
This is where my theory floundered as I realised that he had the original version of the album (with lyrical insert) and not just a pirate taped copy - naughty, naughty. He not only proceeded to put me straight, but shared my idiocy with the rest of the class. Thanks, Rob! My mum believed me though.
