The story:
I first started singing the wrong words along with this song
when it was out as part of the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack
(when I was about 12) and sung by Barry Gibb/the BeeGees.
When it was released as a remake/remix by Destiny's Child
in 2001 I FINALLY figured out they weren't talking about erosion.
I must have been a very environmentally conscious child.
