I heard this wonderful song on the radio and immediately called and asked the DJ, "Who sings that 'skin is like a tire' song?" It took him a while to figure out that I misheard the lyrics and was asking about the song "Black Metallic." I've played the song for my friends and they understand why I thought Rob Dickinson was singing "like a tire" instead of "black metallic." Since then, my friends and I sing it MY way - even when we see Catherin Wheel in concert.
