The story:
This was actually my brother's misinterpretation of the lyric. He
figured it out about 20 years ago, but just told me about this
yesterday afternoon.
At 1:00 AM last night, I thought about this as my wife and I were
settling in to go to sleep. I started laughing--out loud--and told
my wife about it. We both laughed hysterically, seriously, for about
30 minutes. This morning we listened to the song and we both lost
it again--you could TOTALLY hear it to say "coitus" instead of
"colitas".
