The story:
I was only 5 years old, at my grandparents house with my parents. I was sitting next to their stereo speakers singing along, rather loudly, to the song with my misheard version. My mom,quickly pulled me aside and explained to me what the real lyric was to the song. Being only 5 years old at the time, I didnt really understand at the time why my mo thought that my misheard version of the lyric was apparently so wrong! My mom was mortified and my grandparents were rolling with laughter. of course, now as an adult...I find my mishap pretty amusing :)
