The story:
I actually never figured this lyric out until I finally looked it up. Buffet kind of mangled "lost shaker of salt," and it really does sound like "last chigger is all" or "jiggersol." Since I never heard of a jiggersol I went with "my last chigger is all." I figured he must've been drunk and sleeping in the woods and had picked up some red bugs (chiggers). People in Florida and Georgia know what they are. Annoying little red mites that burrow under the skin. Now I know why people laughed when I sang that song!
