Well, I was listening to the song one day, and it really occured to me that it certainly sounded like he [Peter Gabriel] was singing about a french monkey named Jacques. It stuck. I sang along with the song one day when my older sister was around, and she ended up giving me this really strange look and began to laugh afterwards. I didn't make the correlation between the song title and the song lyrics until then... ,)
